GVA Sawyer and KPMG announce about their joint research in Russia and Former Soviet Republics
GVA Sawyer and KPMG are carrying out investigations of demand situation in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg office real estate market.
The technology of the research has a fundamental distinction from traditionally applicable analysis of economic indicator and statistics. Under the current research GVA Sawyer and KPMG are planning to interview Russian businessmen in order to receive judgmental estimate of economic development rates and prospects for their own business development.
“The concept of the research originates from GVA Grimley (Great Britain) which issues "sentiments and trends" statements once a year”, says Evelina Pavlovskaya, Consulting Vice-President GVA Sawyer. First-hand information confirmed by the analysis of national measure allows experts to make a conclusion about the potential of shift in demand for office premises in Moscow and Saint-Petersburg office real estate market.
“In general, the current research will also be as a certain "barometer" of financial business situation. It allows estimating how optimistically companies look forward to the future”, noted Alisa Melkonyan, Partner of North-West regional KPMG centre in Russia and Former Soviet Republics.
Respondents will be interviewed from 12th of April to 12th of May 2010. It is expected to interview more than 100 companies from various economic sectors. Hereafter the demand research is planned to be carried out every half a year.
