Novocity— Project in Novorossiysk, the Cape of Love

Hotel, office and residential complex

In 2003 the cooperation of Moscow-based companies Kesco-M and Sawyer Group on implementation of investment and construction projects in Novorossiysk and Krasnodar Region resulted in the foundation of the company Novocity.

Its main area of activity was development of the mixed-use office and residential complex Novocity and landscaping of the main city embankment.

Novocity is an ultramodern mixed-use complex located in the heart of Russia’s largest port city, Novorossiysk, and directly in the area immediately adjacent to the coastline at Cape Love. 

Novocity  complex complements the city’s infrastructure with elements that it needs today. The project consists of a complex of residential, office, retail and hotel buildings with a total area of over 100,000 square meters on a 5.5-hectare plot.

The efficient use of space, effective configuration and detailed landscaping maximize the efficiency of investments and make the new complex in Novorossiysk the most up-to-date and state-of-the-art facility in the region.

Active construction of the project’s residential towers and office space is currently underway. A Hilton Garden Inn hotel managed by the international hotel operator Hilton has been built and opened.

Sawyer Group acted as the developer of the project, managing the processes of the formation of the territory development concept, design at all stages, and obtaining town-planning approvals. Sawyer Group actively co-operated with the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Krasnodar Region when approving the concept and, subsequently, the project. The territory development concept and masterplan were created with the assistance of the international group of architects AEDAS. Sawyer Group engaged a team of Moscow architects and designers under the leadership of A.R. Asadov to implement the design. A team of experts from the French operator Accor was engaged to develop the hotel concept.
