Annual International Real Estate Investment Forum ProEstate 2018 was held in Moscow from the19th till the 21th September. Sawyer Group experts took an active part in the business program of the forum. The Company President V. Setskaya presented a report on the topic “Open market niches and why we think about it so little?” in the course of a panel discussion organized by the Committee for Investments of the Moscow Government together with the Moscow Investors Club, she spoke about popular socially beneficial facility formats, including sports facilities, event centers and museums, children education centers, gastro farms, creative workshops.
V. Setskaya provided examples of ongoing projects of that kind in the form of Public Private Partnership. V. Setskaya referred to the program of construction of Water Sports Palaces, implemented by Alexander Popov`s Academy, a group of companies set up by the Olympic champion Alexander Popov and explained investment attractiveness of such projects. She also listed current regional projects of event and museum complexes constructed on the basis of existing historic buildings. As an example V. Setskaya also presented the project of reconstruction of an old tram depot in the City Center of Helsinki, where Sawyer Group acts as developer and consultant. The project implies a smooth redevelopment of historic electric trams depot buildings and the creation of such top requested modern formats as a gastro market, creative design workshops, SPA complex and exhibition space on their basis.
V. Setskaya expanded on the topic of real estate modern formats also in the discussion “Commercial real estate throughout the regions: niches for efficient growth” held on the second day of the Forum by the Russian Guild of Developers and Managers.
